In 2023 I was delighted to be asked to work with the wonderful Ark Pictures team on a new short film project. Rather than the straight up eerie horror of Room 301, this was to be a more of a psychological thriller. I have worked with Dan Keeble (Director) several times now and it's always a pleasure scoring for him. He trusts in my work and pretty much allows me free reign as we throw ideas back and forth - something I'm very appreciative of.

I'm immensely proud of how this score turned out and how it conveys the emotion and tragedy of the story. I feel that it works as a cohesive stand alone piece of music as well.

The first piece is the main score in full, as you would hear in the film. But I have also included three Bonus Tracks. These shorter pieces were the initial ideas I sent to Dan, and hopefully will show some of the evolution in the piece. The main motif is in a major key to begin with and is quite melodic, but through the process is becomes minor, with a more sparse performance on the piano, and haunting strings.
